How Vandexter Finds a Niche that Works
How many people are stuck with jobs they don’t want but aren’t doing anything about it? They end up bickering most of the time, complaining about the situation that makes their lives miserable and all the more they keep on wondering why they are where they are.
Since we’ve already discussed about having the proper mind set in order to channel all your energy to your goal in achieving success, it’s time to talk about how you should find a niche that matches your passion or experience. I’ve come across a poem when I read an article online about work which makes a lot of sense when it comes to working.
If you don’t like your work,
You’ll need three times the energy:
To force yourself to work,
To resist the force,
And finally to work.

There’s no such thing as a dream job because if you have found it, you’ve probably awaken from your sleep. What you can do is look for that job that keeps you wanting to work with passion. Instead of looking for factors that motivate you to work, let the work become your motivation.
Here are some thoughts to ponder if you wish to work with passion.
* Take Note – List down the things that you like to do. Find other areas that interest you outside your work. Whether it be a skill, a talent or just something you enjoy doing; jot those things in a piece of paper and rate them according to what interests you the most.
* Sort – After listing everything down, it’s time for you to arrange them so you can find a niche that can give you the best monetization value. Since what you’ve written on the list are things that you like doing, it shouldn’t be a problem determining which one to choose.
* Target your Market – After sorting them out, you can then find the right market for your to target on. Let’s face it that not all your desires are what every person wants. You should maximize your option so you can get the most out of the chosen niche that works.
* Study – Research, research, research. Like any other venture, you should carefully study your options and make sure that you are well-prepared. It doesn’t mean that everything will go well according to plan and that it’s smooth-sailing from then onwards once you’ve found a niche that works. You still have to exert effort on it. But then, it becomes less stressful and more bearable because the work is already a motivation itself.
Find that niche because that will be the foundation that you’ll be able to build your dreams on. It’s time to take control of your life so utilize the things that make you get up and look forward to doing every day. A mentor once advised me to love my job so I won’t feel like working at all. I say find a job that you love and you’ll surely be successful and happy at the same time.
